TSMC raised its 2026 growth outlook to about 44% and ASML said customers want more machines than it can build through 2028. In the same week CoreWeave's bonds traded at a record 14.5% yield and the neocloud stocks fell double digits. Daniel Newman and Shay Boloor are live at 3:15 PM ET on why the AI trade sold off while its suppliers posted records.

The slate opens with the suppliers. TSM reported third-quarter revenue of $46.72 billion, up 41% from a year ago, net income of NT$763 billion against NT$746 billion expected, and guided the fourth quarter to $52.3 billion to $54.3 billion. ASML reported record sales of €11.7 billion at a 57.5% gross margin, guided the fourth quarter to €14.2 billion to €15.2 billion, and said planned supply for 2027 and 2028 will not fully meet demand. Both stocks fell about 7% on the week. Then the neoclouds. CRWV fell 15% in a day after its 2032 bonds hit a 14.5% yield, its credit default swaps reached a record, and Gartner forecast that 80% of neocloud providers will stop operating independently by 2030. NBIS and IREN fell with it, while MSFT and META were up on the week. Jensen Huang said CoreWeave's cost of capital is falling. Then the labs. OpenAI told investors its annualized revenue was about $50 billion, below the $68 billion that had been reported, and Anthropic's third-quarter revenue grew about 45% after more than doubling the quarter before. Then the prints: September CPI rose 3.7% from a year ago, PPI jumped 1.3% in a month, and the 10-year Treasury yield still fell to about 5.1% ahead of the October 27 to 28 Fed meeting.

Micron beat on revenue by about $3 billion, guided its next quarter $4.5 billion above the Street, and the stock barely moved. The same week OpenAI launched always-on AI agents, Nvidia released a platform to contain them, and AMD bought Fei-Fei Li's World Labs. Daniel Newman and Shay Boloor are live at 1 PM ET on all of it.

The slate opens with MU. Fiscal fourth-quarter revenue was $54.2 billion against $51.1 billion expected, gross margin was 87%, and the first-quarter guide is $61.5 billion and $38.15 of EPS in a 13-week quarter, after a 14-week one. Micron has 26 strategic customer agreements covering more than 35% of revenue through 2030, with $32 billion of customer commitments, and says new cleanroom space arrives in late 2028. Then AI agents. At DevDay OpenAI launched Dots, agents on GPT-6 Astra with their own cloud computer, a $500 Pro 500 plan and GPT-6.1 Sol at $2 per million input tokens, and it held back GPT-6.1 Astra after the model deceived users about its own work. NVDA released its Open Agent Safety Platform, open-source OpenShell software plus Sentry, a BlueField-4 hardware monitor, backed by more than 100 companies including Anthropic, Microsoft, CRWD and PANW. NOW launched Flow, an AI service desk that runs in Slack and Teams and can be bought with a credit card. Then the design layer. AMD is paying about $8.2 billion in stock for World Labs, its largest deal since Xilinx, and SNPS rose about 13% after its investor day on a fiscal 2027 guide of $11.1 billion to $11.2 billion and GPT-Synopsys, a chip design model built with OpenAI.

Meta told investors how its Muse agent will make money: free for a very large number of tokens, then a small fee on the transactions it completes. The stock is up 27% since the September 8 launch. In the same week the 10-year Treasury yield hit 5.16%, its highest since 2007. Daniel Newman and Shay Boloor are live at 1 PM ET on both, and on the calls they made last Friday.

The slate opens with Muse. At Connect on September 23 Mark Zuckerberg said Meta expects to "profit by taking a small fee from transactions," with a free tier up to 100 million tokens a week, a $20 Power tier and a $100 Maximum tier, and commerce partners including Walmart, Best Buy, Expedia, Instacart, Shopify and PayPal. Apptopia counts 642,000 US daily users against 231,000 for ChatGPT at the same point after launch. META rose 11.4% on Monday. Muse moved other stocks too: AMD rose 9.95% and passed a $1 trillion market value, INTC rose 12% the same day on the case that AI agents need more CPUs, and SCHW fell 6.1% Tuesday along with LPL and the big banks on fear that agents end customer inertia. Amazon blocked Muse from its store and Shopify opened every store to it the next day. Then rates. The September flash composite PMI came in at 58.4, the strongest since July 2021, the 30-year yield went above 5.4%, Philadelphia Fed President Anna Paulson said "some modest further tightening may be warranted," and traders put the odds of an October hike near 69%. Where it hit AI: ORCL sent a force majeure notice on its $165 billion Project Jupiter data center in New Mexico, and SoftBank is selling a $10 billion junk bond to fund its next OpenAI investment. NBIS rallied on an upgrade and October 1 GPU price increases. Then compute prices: TSMC is raising 2027 wafer prices, Citi lifted its MU target to $1,300 ahead of Micron's report on September 30, and OpenAI and Anthropic both cut model prices.

The people building frontier AI asked the industry to slow down, and the Fed raised rates for the first time in three years, all inside four days. Daniel Newman and Shay Boloor are live at 1 PM ET on what both mean for the AI trade, whether Meta's Muse is the ChatGPT moment, and whether the cybersecurity move already happened.

The slate opens with the slowdown call. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei published "We Must Pace the Frontier" on Saturday, Sam Altman and Elon Musk agreed within hours, and Microsoft put out a 37 page code of conduct for its models on Monday. Jensen Huang called it a false choice, Mark Zuckerberg said liability and competition already do the job, and the White House rejected new guardrails. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 5.9% on Monday, NVDA fell 3.4%, and by Thursday the index had recovered 4% while Broadcom's Hock Tan said his $115 billion and $230 billion AI revenue targets had not changed at all. In the same week Nvidia, Palantir and Booz Allen restricted their use of Anthropic's models over data retention. Then the Fed: a unanimous 25 basis point hike to 3.75% to 4%, a dot plot at 4.1% for the end of 2026 and 2027, and 12 of 18 officials expecting one more hike this year. Both hosts were on record for no hike and they grade themselves first. The read that follows is about who funds the buildout: CRWV fell 10% on the week carrying $640 million of quarterly interest expense, NVDA finished the week where it started, and ORCL touched $140. Then Muse. META rose every session this week and is up about 10% since the September 8 launch, on 83,000 US iOS downloads in the first days, a top five App Store ranking, and 15 million Meta One subscriptions and trials, against a ChatGPT benchmark of 1 million users in five days. Then cybersecurity, the week's winner: CRWD rose 14% on Monday alone and 19% on the week, ZS rose 18%, PANW rose 13%, on the argument this show made three weeks ago that every AI agent needs an identity.

The AI doom narrative had its loudest week of the year, and Amazon committed up to $60 billion to Qualcomm chips inside the same seven days. The slate starts with what got said and what got signed. An Anthropic researcher's resignation post drew 110 million views, the lab's alignment lead put the odds of human extinction inside a decade above 10%, and the Bank of England governor warned the G20 that an AI correction could spread through sovereign debt markets. Against that: AMZN took a $4 billion warrant in QCOM tied to as much as $60 billion of custom inference silicon through 2036, OpenAI raised its compute plan to $750 billion through 2030, AVGO guided roughly $115 billion of AI revenue for fiscal 2027, and Michael Burry covered his CoreWeave short. Then the two prints from Thursday night. ORCL reported into a stock 55% off its high at 20 times forward earnings, carrying $638 billion of backlog, more than $122 billion of debt and negative $23.7 billion of free cash flow last year. ADBE reported at under 10 times forward earnings, down 27% this year, with AI first ARR above $500 million and a CEO handoff on December 1. META is the hot AI name after Muse, its personal agent, hit #3 on the App Store in two days and JPMorgan moved its target to $820. Underneath all of it: WTI above $100, a 10 year Treasury above 4.9% for the first time since 2023, producer prices up 5.4%, and a September 16 rate hike priced near 56%.

Four AI and software companies reported after Tuesday's close. Two more report after Wednesday's close, roughly an hour after this show ends. Daniel Newman and Shay Boloor are live in the middle of it, grading the prints that landed and putting their bars on the ones that have not, with the 10 year Treasury at its highest level since January 2025 sitting underneath all of it.

The slate is the heart of software and AI infrastructure earnings season. DELL guided to $44B to $45B of revenue with roughly $15.5B of AI servers expected, and its infrastructure operating margin had already fallen from 14.8% to 10.5% as DRAM and NAND costs climbed, on a stock up more than 260% this year with $24.4B of AI orders in backlog. PANW closed its fiscal year with next generation security ARR of $8.13B growing 60% and about 2,280 platformized customers, trading near 98 times forward earnings. MDB guided Atlas to 26% growth with the street looking two to three points higher. CRDO guided to $465M to $475M against $223M a year ago, with a $600M optical ramp in focus. AVGO reports after the close with roughly $16B of AI semiconductor revenue guided, a $73B AI backlog, and at least five custom silicon customers including Alphabet, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Anthropic and OpenAI. SNOW follows with product revenue guided to $1.42B, up 30%. Around every one of them: Brent crude above $93, a 10 year at 4.78%, ISM prices paid stuck at 71.1, and September rate hike odds that went from 39.9% on August 21 to a coin flip.
